This is an individual project, to be completed in several stages.
Stage 1: You need to choose a notable Black American to profile in your project. This person may be a politician, a Civil Rights leader, a religious leader, a scientist/inventor, an Abolitionist, a scholar/educator, an entertainer, or an athlete.
Please try to limit the choices of current athletes or entertainers.
Answer the following questions about the person:
Find biographical information (DOB, DOD, family info, where is he/she from)
Include their educational information
Explain in detail why this person is important to American History.
